Bonjour!!
My name’s Stephany S. Mata. I studied English and Film Studies (interdisciplinary studies) at Bates College. Currently, I hold an administrative position at a major home health care service agency in New York City. Where I’ve learned a lot about public health.
I’m a little of a hermit and a nerd. If my diction and syntax seems at little weird to you, then that’s because my family immigrated from a particular Caribbean island.
I love filmmaking and writing. Although, I’m currently not involved in any of these two fields, I keep myself entertained by producing my own videos at home and writing fanfiction. I can’t say I’m a great writer, but writing makes me happy.
I love to write about education, women’s issues, and about films/movies. These are the most common topics that would be found on my blog. I hope that with practice, I will become a better writer and inspire others.
Human Trafficking is an issue close to my heart. Therefore, I hope to become a voice for those individuals who have become victims of such fate and teach others about this growing problem. Thanks for visiting my blog. Best, Steph
